Introduction
As the Backup infrastructure Solution architected, you will join a private cloud team specialized into the design and the implementation of IT infrastructure in a Private Cloud type context, to help our clients into their digital transformation.
You will handle the following activities:
• Understand the needs and the workloads types on the current infrastructure,
• Contribute to the backup service continuous improvement, and implementation of its new functions
Your mission will specifically consist in conducting Architectural design activities (HLD, LLD), and in implementing functions into the environment, based on proven technology and standardization.
You will lead discussions with client technical leaders, and translate their needs into reliable technical solutions, highly available, and that brings real added value to the client.
You will also have to be able to manage constant requirement changes, fast evolution needs, adjustments of strategy, and to be up to date with technological emerging solutions.
Your Role and Responsibilities

• Design and support to the building and the improvement of the target backup solution, based on top of IBM Spectrum Protect and NetApp Technologies, and to offer high level of performance, security, upgrade, maintenance, and reliability,
• Contribute to the technical tests during the transitions and/or technical implementations,
• Contribute to the transfer / handover to IBM teams,
• Explain and revise your design work with all the stakeholders, including the various client contacts and the project management,
• Supervise the technical teams during implementation phases

Some travels (In France) are expected into client premises

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 5 years’ experience conducting complex technical project consultancy, in the context of selling, architecting, and deploying
• Perform Stakeholder Requirements Management (mandatory): Identify,document,clarify,refine,detail,prioritize,and manage business goals,objectives,functional and non-functional requirements,and constraints
• Lead in Architectural Strategic Direction (mandatory): lead in the architectural direction yet be practical in implementing the business requirements
• Certified IBM Spectrum Protect for backup and NetApp DataStorage and DataProtection
• Mastering public, hybrid, private cloud concepts & implementations
• Mastering integration of a backup solution into a cloud context
• Team work, negotiation skills
• Strong customer relationship skills
• Interest for automating IT operations
• Mastering Agile methodology, mandatory
• Task ownership, prioritization, and time management skills
• Able to work in virtual/international organizations and with cross function teams
