What you will achieve

In your first 30 days:

• Understand Dialpad product offerings (industry trends, competitors, etc)
• Understand the internal Dialpad marketing ecosystem - establish relationships w/ key partners and stakeholders
• Support the completion of web design projects while developing and maintaining consistent branding and marketing requirements

In your first 60 days:

• Expand knowledge of Dialpad offerings and customer profiles
• Expand cross-functional relationships; set expectations and working cadence with key stakeholders
• Take individual ownership of specific website projects
• Collaborate with the product design team on maintaining consistency when the product UI is displayed across the website
• Maintain the web design library to ensure components can be reusable
• Utilize data and analytics when designing for different screen sizes

In your first 90 days:

• Collaborate closely as part of the web design team to ensure they meet their targets
• Communicate with developers on the web engineering team to make sure custom UI components are handed off in a timely manner
• Support the wider marketing department by designing the layout, and visual treatment of key product and campaign landing pages

Who you are You are a Web Designer with extreme attention to detail, excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills to assist in executing Dialpad’s web strategy through Design across our various web sites.

• 2-3 years of work experience as a designer for web and / or mobile
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Must be proficient in Figma, Sketch, Photoshop or other visual design software
• Must understand grid systems, responsive design principles and standards
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to accessibility requirements
• Familiarity with using project management software tools such as Asana and Jira
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques and technologies
• BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript are a plus
• Awareness of CRO and SEO best practices
