Optoro continues to work primarily remotely due to COVID-19. Interviews and onboarding for new candidates will be done remotely for the foreseeable future.

Job Purpose:

This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Director of Operations. The BULQ Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple aspects and developing new tactics for the Optoro’s B2B marketplace BULQ to exceed velocity and recovery goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement operational changes to support BULQ goals and KPIs
  • Manage Directed Sort Templates for BULQ Managed Service Operations and support Account Management on this same activity for on site Clients
  • Coordinate BULQ shipping activities for large orders (LTL & FTL)
  • Monitors BULQ closed lots inventory aging
  • Monitors all BULQ inventory for unusual behavior and researches and reports issue to appropriate departments
  • Develop a strategy to move non BULQ.com eligible categories/lots (non-sellable)
  • Provides pre and post-sales operations assistance for offline truckload and/or electronic bid sales in the following areas:
    • Manifest of lots to sell
    • Secures sales price approvals from internal stakeholder(s)
    • Collects Purchase Orders
    • Provides Finance Order ID’s and manifests for invoicing
    • Monitors buyer shipment requirement compliance
    • Post-sale issue research and resolution
  • BULQ support to Warehouse Operations and Customer Care as needed
  • Support testing and operationalizing new features
  • Supports Client Success team when required for “flip” sales

Qualifications

  • Must Have
    • Supply Chain and Inventory Management
    • Excel experience and proficiency to include V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
    • Interest or experience in data analysis and process improvement
    • Detail oriented
    • Resourceful and creative problem solver
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
    • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills both internally and externally
    • Curious, active learner with a desire to grow in responsibility and experience
  • Nice to Have
    • Able to frequently re-prioritize activities based on current client/company needs
    • Tableau Dashboard /SQL reporting experience
    • Account Management and/or Customer Service experience
