Your Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Business Analyst LIMS - Migration is part of a team who sit within the Delivery Hub in the IS Transformation team, a pool of resources for the delivery of Corporate Continuous Improvement (CI), medium-sized projects and Major Programmes. The pool provides expertise in the RB IT systems landscape and includes: Functional Experts; cross-business skilled Project Managers; Technical Project Managers; Test Leads; Business Analysts and Integration Competency Centre (ICC). There are also Change/Comms specialists and a Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to support delivery.
The Senior Business Analyst LIMS - Migration is responsible for the governance and enforcement of standardised solutions for projects, programme and continuous improvement initiatives related to QUALITY solutions
The Senior Business Analyst LIMS - Migration reports directly into the Senior IS Manager – R&D/SQRC and supports the development of processes and template standards for changes to QUALITY solutions. The resource is also responsible for governing and enforcing these processes and standards during the lifecycle of QUALITY IS change projects, infrastructure & network changes, major programme or continuous improvement activity. As a Senior Business Analyst LIMS - Migration, the role holder is responsible for supporting Business Relationship Directors (BRDs) in the Functional Relationship Management Team during business case stages.

Responsibilities:

  • LIMS Implementation Knowledge includes global as well as local rollouts.
  • Experience in compliance environments like Pharmaceutical / Health care industries and Exposure on different regulatory guidelines like 21 CFR part11, Annexure 11 and GAMP5 etc...
  • End to End Validation and Documentation knowledge for LIMS implementation.
  • Ability to understand the business requirements, technical issues and Solving capability within LIMS systems.
  • Support the development of a blueprint to achieve standardised QUALITY solutions within RB to simplify the change process going forward.
  • Govern and enforce the standardised solutions for projects, programmes and continuous improvement initiatives related to the QUALITY solutions within RB
  • Support the Global Systems Lead in identifying opportunities to streamline, consolidate or simplify the QUALITY systems landscape
  • Advise and support the BRDs during the business case definition stage to ensure standardisation is maintained
  • Support Business Analysts during business requirements capture to ensure that standardisation will not be compromised by the change.
  • Where required, work with delivery partners to ensure that any functional designs they are delivering are in line with standardised templates
  • Where required, support delivery partners with the testing phase to ensure that change has been implemented to the correct standardised template as advised.

  • Implement staff development programme to ensure that all staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide a service of excellence

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Extensive experience working in a Senior Business Analyst role like driving Requirements & Design workshops with various Business & IS stakeholders, GAMP 5 CSV documentation skills, excellent communication skills and basic QC process knowledge on Supply/Manufacturing side
  • Proven track record of expertise of suite of QUALITY/ITIL solutions e.g. LIMS (mandatory), TrackWise (desirable), SAP (desirable), Document Management System (preferred), Service Now (preferred), HPQC ALM (preferred), Infor Optiva PLM (desirable)etc.
  • Hands on with C#, VGA, server scripting languages etc.
  • Experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders to balance business needs with IS standards and processes
  • Enthusiastic about the use of technology, with a proven ability to provide a communication ‘bridge’ between the business and technologists
  • Extensive experience of working in a mixed Waterfall and Agile delivery environment

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Enterprise Architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF, Zachman
  • Program and Project Management qualifications e.g. Prince2, PMI PMP
  • ITIL V3 to Intermediate level.
  • You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
  • Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
  • Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.
