Role Overview:

As Manager of Innovation & Partnerships, you will report directly to the Head of Innovation + Partnerships within the B2B part of the organization. This is a new and burgeoning team, that is high-energy and laser focused on building multi-year partnerships with global brands geared towards our members. You will help onboard new brand clients spanning all relevant categories, and be strong in execution once those brands are brought in. You will help aid in the internal process of getting these brand partnerships onboarded, and will see the ins and outs through each stage externally as well.

Your main focus will be leveraging your analytical prowess to aid in developing financial based modeling that will ensure our DTC initiatives are well thought out and data driven. You will develop an intimate understanding of how our data can be leveraged, and translating that information into easy to process value propositions. You will forge strong relationships with the necessary internal stakeholders across teams in order to fulfill multi-faceted programs. This is a dynamic and highly visible role on a small, but growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in tandem with the Head of Partnerships in order to pursue the right partners for our proprietary opportunities that can reach our hundreds of millions of members.
  • Provide assistance for financial modeling and strategic support to the Head of Partnerships, including preparing presentation materials and assisting with forecast analysis.
  • Communicate effectively as an adept account manager to our external partners and stakeholders, while contributing to creative business discussions and strategic direction.
  • Stay abreast of key industry trends to make recommendations on new revenue opportunities, as well as assist in identifying and sourcing new prospects.
  • Work with all necessary internal team members to ensure the success of partnership implementations and programs.
  • Work with the Head of Partnerships to aid in crafting and executing against a roadmap for new partnerships deals that allows us to continuously improve business metrics.
  • Monitor and execute against key success metrics for brands participating in a variety of different ways with us, ranging from app integrations, loyalty, marketing, and more.
  • Analyze current trends in key performance indicators for our DTC programs as assigned.
  • Assist in the end-to-end partnership rewards pipeline.
  • Work with the necessary stakeholders to help facilitate contract negotiations and execution, and aid in platform implementation.
  • Share program performance reporting to key stakeholders on a regular cadence (quarterly, monthly, etc.) to track performance against departmental and company goals

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience creating and/or managing a multi-channel partnership program in advertising, marketing, or consulting environments.
  • Experience in subscription media business preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills. Experience with data forecasting and financial modeling preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills. You are comfortable speaking with senior-level executives, both internally and externally. Account management experience preferred.
  • Self-starter who is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done, including completing any and all administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
