JOB SUMMARY

Manages the activities of product lines / projects / programs involving department or cross-functional teams. Focuses on delivery within prescribed time fame and funding parameters. Monitors the product line / program / project from initiation through delivery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review Statement of Work for program specific requirements. Ensure customer requirements are met and in the best interests of Woven Electronics by creating baseline plan, and other program management components. Ensure that the financial basis is correct by evaluating product requirements, resource availability, schedule constraints, and risk analysis.
  • Develop Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for authorized work. Establishes and communicates overall priorities and changing program requirements to functional areas.
  • Conduct and chair internal team meetings to review progress and identify issues.
  • Participate in Customer meetings to address progress, questions, and concerns.
  • Facilitate working sessions to resolve unplanned anomalies.
  • Conduct and chair design reviews.
  • Identify, track and close action items resulting from meetings and reviews.
  • Manage programs within established Collins Aerospace procedures and best practices.
  • Track and report on the status of open purchase orders on key programs.
  • Provide more general engineering support to the corporation as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering or other related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Prior program management experience with responsibility from initial concept to product delivery preferred.
  • Preferred experience working with or for prime contractors in the Aerospace/Defense/Military industries preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs running at different product development stages preferred.
  • Certified Project Management Professional preferred.
