Who You Are Brightwheel is seeking a strategic, analytical, and results-oriented content marketer who will own and drive all content marketing initiatives for a key area of the brightwheel business. The ideal candidate will excel at defining, building, and executing content strategy based on a deep understanding of the target audience and their challenges, translating those needs into compelling content that achieves business objectives, and evaluating performance to optimize the content program, ultimately raising brightwheel’s profile as a trustworthy, reputable thought leader and delivering traffic that converts into customers. What You'll Do

    • Lead all content marketing initiatives which includes: identifying customers to target; creating and managing the content calendar; producing quality, engaging content; and driving desired brand perception, traffic, and leads from content marketing.
    • Plan, develop, and implement insight-driven, high-value thought leadership content strategy, working closely with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing partners to identify relevant topics and timely content themes
    • Analyze current customer base to figure out who we should target for content marketing and talk to customers to determine pain points and topics to write content about
    • Collaborate closely with channel marketers to identify and leverage content across paid and owned marketing channels to drive awareness and growth.
    • Measure and analyze content metrics on an ongoing basis and factor results into future content recommendations and development.

Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities

    • 5+ years of experience in content marketing
    • Solid foundation in SEO
    • Proven track record in content marketing strategy and content development across multiple formats for multiple audiences
    • Customer-centric mentality, ability to understand the customer’s needs and challenges and translate them into compelling content
    • Strong writing background, with experience writing, editing, and proofreading content
    • Proficiency in content management system (e.g. Hubspot, Wordpress) and Google Analytics
    • Sharp attention to detail with exceptional project management and organizational skills
