Information Developer/Technical Writer

Job Description

You will work with managers, team members, and product development teams throughout the project life cycle to:

• Analyze customer requirements and product specifications to help define technical content strategy.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the product development team to develop technical content, ensure timely reviews, and meet project deadlines.
• Exercise your ability to quickly comprehend complex technologies, concepts, products, and procedures to create concise DITA topic-based content using an XML editor and content management system.

Education and Experience Required:

• Typically a First Level University degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science or related technical/communications field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years related experience or an Advanced University degree and up to 2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Must have the ability to be onsite at our HPE Taipei Nangang office.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent English verbal communications and proven English writing skills
• Proficient in DITA, XML authoring tools, and content management systems
• Organized and detail oriented
• Familiarity with server products, technologies, and concepts
• Comfortable with a hands-on approach in a lab environment
