Your Role and Responsibilities
The Senior Cloud SME is responsible for developing standard design and architectures; definition of the structures of an IT solution to a business problem.
You must be proficient at the techniques that go into the formulation of architectures, including requirements discovery and analysis, application of abstraction, formulation of solution context, solution alternatives identification and assessment, technology selection, and architectural configuration. This requires practical skills and experience with many application and infrastructure products, technologies, and services.
The Senior cloud SME must be able to provide technical leadership for integration of cross tower services, and transform high-level solutions into detailed implementation designs. They also perform technology assessments and recommend Best Practice architecture for performance, capacity, stability, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
she/he must be able to establish, implement, and enforce appropriate standards in the creation and implementation of the solution whenever project requirements call for or would benefit from the use of standards.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Demonstrable experience working in cloud (IBM Cloud, Amazon, Azure, Google Cloud, Openstack)
• Demonstrable experience working with Kubernetes/Openshift and microservices architectures.
• Experience working with application and architecture teams, understanding both functional and non-functional requirements, and designing solutions.
• Knowledge in systems administration, servers, middleware, storage and network areas.
• High Ability to learn new technology trends (IaC,Chatops, IA, Blockchain,etc..) and adopt emerging roles as SMEs,SRE, Devops,etc..
• Knowledge in microservices applications based on Spring Cloud, AngularJS, ELK, DevOps tools, Proxies, Kafka, Blockchain, web servers.
• Either obtained certifications related to cloud native and container platform technologies or the commitment to obtain them.
• Spanish and English Fluent
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Configuration management tools (staltstack, ansible, chef,...)
• Lifecycle managment tools (git, jenkins,..)
• Scripting (Bash, perl, ruby ...)
• AI/machine learning or Blockchain knowledge.
• Data lake, hadoop, spark and other Big Data and Analytics technologies
• Networking skills: TCP/IP, Routing RIP, BGP, GRE, MPLS, VRF,Load balancing, Firewall, DN,
• Agile and devops methodologies and practices
• Infrastructure as Code and Software Defined Environments
