About the role

The Recruiting Operations and Programs team is hiring a Recruiting Strategy and Planning Program Manager. This role will be responsible for strategic initiatives including transformational net new recruiting programs, M&A (pre and post deal), international programmatic efforts, and OKR planning and management. This role will be responsible for the definition, implementation, and reporting of these critical initiatives from conception through delivery.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment you have a track record of keeping multiple programs and initiatives moving in parallel, demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and an appetite for building from scratch. Working closely with the senior business leaders and global recruiting leadership, you will provide expertise in talent strategy and program execution.

Reporting to the Head of Recruiting Strategy and Operations, this is a high-impact position poised to support the DoorDash talent strategy during this chapter of high growth.

  • Develop strategic program objectives and comprehensive project plans; you will drive the planning, lead stakeholder engagement & alignment, and assess programmatic risks and dependencies
  • Drive operationally efficient work streams, monitor project status, rapidly identify and resolve potential issues, and provide regular updates to senior leadership
  • Partner with business leaders as well as functional leads within the People Team (e.g. Recruiting, Recruiting Tech & Analytics, HRBP, People Ops) to design and deliver critical programs for all candidates across the candidate lifecycle
  • Provide Program Management expertise for Recruiting Programs including, but not limited to: project plan creation, workflows, meeting operating cadence, key documentation and governing processes
  • Anticipate future recruiting program needs for our evolving and diverse workforce
  • Leverage data and analytics to influence decisions and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of recruiting initiatives and programs
  • Own and manage the annual and quarterly OKR goals for the global Recruiting team

About you

  • 6+ years of experience in recruiting or recruiting program management roles, preferably at high-growth consumer or enterprise technology companies
  • Exceptional project management skills, the ability to track and manage complex processes, and a desire to lead multiple teams and multiple projects.
  • A demonstrated track record of successful cross-functional leadership, collaboration, and relationship building
  • Ability to engage with senior functional leaders across the business and influence their strategic thinking
  • You’re highly organized and care about the details
  • You’re growth-minded and eager to expand your skill set
  • You understand both the big picture and the details
