About the Job
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technologist to work for our Nordic region. You will be at the centre of our quality assurance initiatives maintaining close contact with other FSQA team members, the production, procurement and culinary teams to ensure that our food safety and quality standards are unparalleled - from our manufacturing practices to our suppliers to the consumer communication on our recipe cards, website and packing .
The Job
- Work closely with the production team in managing food safety and quality from inbounding to despatch, including ensure conformance to HelloFresh standards, Food Safety Regulations, GMP, GHP, including equipment and environmental sanitation
- Support with quality control activities during inbounding i.e. visual quality checks and weight checks, and quality checks in production. Communicate with relevant stakeholders in case of product quality non-conformance
- Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records (ex. GMP records, temp logs)
- Conduct transit temperature validation tests
- Work with the procurement team and our suppliers to proactively manage suppliers’ compliance with requirements, review and approve supplier specifications and onboard new suppliers
- Support in creating and reviewing product labels and packaging as well as ensure that websites and recipes cards are accurate and consistent
- Implement corrective / preventative actions arising from internal audits, customer complaints, regulatory visits, Root Cause Analysis or other internal / external processes
- Collaborate with the International FSQA teams on strategic projects successfully adopting and implementing these locally
Who You Are
- Fluency orally and in writing in Norwegian and professional proficiency in English is a hard requirement
- Master's degree in Food Science or similar discipline in Norway with top performance
- 1-3 years experience in a food safety / quality role in warehousing
- Experience working in a GMP facility is an asset and familiarity with HACCP principles
- Good analytical skills – solid command of Excel/Google Sheets and Word/Google Doc is a must
- Great organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment
