POSITION SUMMARYThe Service Initiatives (SI) team is primarily responsible for delivering organizational readiness within Service Delivery and Implementation. This includes readiness for new & revised products as well as strategic initiatives resulting in streamlined business processes, improved quality and/or productivity, reduced costs, enhanced training, and a superior customer experience.
This position drives organizational readiness through the Service Delivery Project Management Process: planning, prioritization, and driving change management activities to evolve Service Delivery and Implementation operations, competitiveness and meet the needs of key stakeholders. This will include providing active leadership to a team of Project Managers, ensuring projects and initiatives are being managed and delivered on time, on budget, within scope and deliver on stated benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIESo Overall project governance of the Service and Implementation Project portfolio and Project Management System
o Assist Service and Implementation leadership, in developing project specifications, objectives, strategies, timelines and milestones to reach overall project goals; clarifies ownership, resource needs and drives accountability; establishes agreement among all stakeholders regarding project deliverables and resolves issues that may impede progress of project.
o Collaborates closely with Service Delivery and Implementation leaders and other internal business partners (Finance, Product, Marketing, Technology, Sales, etc.), to ensure alignment of activities, acceptance of priorities and to support project delivery efforts and achievement through partnering with other internal business partners.
o Delivers projects according to the parameters, timelines and budgets discussed and agreed on by senior management
o Acts as a champion for the project team's delivery objectives through coaching and monitoring of project progress, and escalation of issues as appropriate.
o Ensures SI team adherence to the Project Management Process (sponsorship, project plans, escalations, impact analyses etc..)
o Works closely with Service Delivery and Implementation to understand key emerging issues ensure that business requirements are understood and implemented as per expectations.
o Formulates senior management presentations, communicating project updates, and SI team performance to Leadership; discussing important project variables on a continuous basis.
o Develops and maintains quality and compliance; develops and monitors reporting tools and measurements.
o Recruits, attracts and retains project team resources supporting and leveraging associate development within the project experience.
o Develops and employs communication plans to enhance associate awareness, share progress toward goals and to enhance line-of-sight and alignment across the Service Delivery and Implementation organizations.
o Maintains transparency and accountability by providing objective data and analysis and tools that enable leadership to surface issues, and make informed decisions and action plans to support goal achievement.
o Exemplifies and demonstrates the values and competencies of ADP's leadership expectations and principles of Stellar Service
o Employs workforce management processes to identify resource capacity across skills and capabilities, forecasting resource availability and shortage against demand, with corrective resource alignment to ensure projects are appropriately staffed to achieve objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Education: Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent in education and experience). Preferably in business and/or strategic management. 2. Experience: Minimum 5 - 10+ years demonstrated success in leading both a Project Management Process along with managing a team of Project Managers, with proven results. 3. Generic Skills:
* High impact presentation, oral and written communications skills to effectively receive, interpret and disseminate information in a manner that is clear, concise and actionable.
* Exceptional alliance building, influencing and organization navigational skills. Able to impact key stakeholders and operational owners through well articulated strategies backed up with metric driven value statements enabling a transformation/change to current state.
* Demonstrated analytical ability and judgment; able to see and solve problems holistically, sometimes with limited information - comfort and ability to manage ambiguity.
* Solid planning skills, business acumen and ability to span boundaries.
* Able to undertake research and to translate strategies into manageable and credible organization interventions
* Ability to challenge the status quo, drive innovative thinking and provide superior leadership to staff in order to motivate to successful implementation and drive significant change.
* Strong working knowledge and understanding of ADP operations and business organization.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Ability to project a well-disciplined professional image.
* Self motivated, results oriented and driven to achieve objectives.
* Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
* Travel as required.
