You will learn how to apply the latest Lean and Agile thinking, create pragmatic solutions to solve mission-critical problems and challenge yourself every day.</p> <p>Afterwards, the<a href="https://www.thoughtworks.com/fye">&nbsp;<em>First Year Experience</em></a>&nbsp;program provides continual on-boarding support to help you settle into ThoughtWorks. Whether you’re a Computer Science major with less than 1 year of professional experience, a coding boot camp graduate or a “career changer” who is working toward becoming a software developer, we encourage you to consider joining our community.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>As a ThoughtWorker, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Pair to write clean and iterative code using practices like TDD, SOLID principles, OO design, and pair programming.</li> <li>Use continuous delivery practices to improve software delivery speed.</li> <li>Work in collaborative, product-focused teams to build innovative customer experiences for a variety of clients.</li> <li>Learn, digest and subsequently apply the latest technology thinking from our<a href="https://www.thoughtworks.com/radar">&nbsp;tech radar</a>&nbsp;to solve client problems.</li> <li>Tackle a variety of challenges for clients of all industries, while collaborating with new teammates from diverse backgrounds.</li> </ul> <p><strong>This is the opportunity for you if:</strong></p> <ul> <li>You have less than 1 year of professional experience working as a developer.</li> <li>You understand analysis, design, coding and OO concepts.</li> <li>You can commit to traveling up to 100% (home on the weekends) across the US and Canada to work onsite with clients, when travel resumes.&nbsp;<em>**Currently we’re working remotely due to the pandemic, but this may change in the future depending on CDC guidance and client needs.**</em></li> <li>You have a passion for learning, an enthusiasm for collaborative work, and a desire to create meaningful solutions to business problems.</li> <li>You’re resilient in ambiguous situations and can approach challenges from multiple perspectives.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>A few important things to know:</strong></h3> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Most of our projects are with international clients, so availability to travel and a <strong>good spoken English</strong> level are important requirements.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We also welcome applications from applicants based in cities other than Quito, although you must be willing to relocate</span></p> <p style="color: white;">#LI-ECUADOR</p>
