Data Science Intern (Remote)

We are looking for a summer data science intern to apply machine learning modeling techniques to score and prioritize genetic targets for clinical trial success.

What you’ll do

• Develop machine learning models to identify and prioritize genetic targets for drug discovery
• Strategize on feature development and data strategy to achieve the best accuracy and modeling results
• Develop creative approaches to best leverage incomplete or noisy genetic data to address high value analysis questions
• Bridge the gap between Therapeutics, Product and Engineering experts for collaborative problem solving

What you’ll bring / Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working with very large datasets in Python, R and standard machine learning libraries
• Knowledge of molecular biology drug discovery and development (preferred)
• Currently pursuing a Masters degree, preferably in biology, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics
