The Opportunity

The HR Business Partner, R&D will be responsible for implementing HR practices and policies, partnering with the business, coaching managers, shaping our culture and engaging our employees to drive organizational results within assigned departments. In addition to supporting the day-to-day, this role helps to develop and implement a human capital strategy that prepares the workforce for high performance and best supports the objectives of the business.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution our people strategy to practice, strengthen, and embed our company's core values, culture and our company's overall business goals within the supporting departments.
• Partner with assigned technology teams and locations, including Argentina and Belarus, to develop and drive organizational and human capital strategies.
• Provide day to day coaching and performance management guidance; work with managers and employees to build strong work relationships, mediate as needed and drive high morale, productivity and retention.
• Conduct internal investigations related to employee complaints, including of discrimination and/or harassment. Work closely with legal partners to ensure adherence to our policies, and follow through to resolution.
• Guide managers through the execution of HR programs, processes and strategic initiatives (e.g., performance management, recruitment and selection, talent management and succession planning, compensation planning).
• Ensure HR processes and practices are compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to leave policies, recruiting and onboarding compliance, Disciplinary procedures, and Termination practices. Identify and mitigate possible labor risks.
• Identify insights and opportunities to enhance and streamline HR processes.
• Work closely with the Global HR specialist functions such as Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, etc. in order to provide HR solutions.
• Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.
• Prepares and delivers small and large group oral presentations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile

• Business orientation with strong quantitative and analytical skills and workforce planning skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, project management skills.
• Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships and provide high quality service with key internal partners.
• Ability and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Change management.
• Comfort with change, innovation and risk-taking.
• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, new trends and benchmarking.
• Experience with MS Office tools and HR Information Systems.
• Experience developing, managing and analyzing HR metrics to find root causes and develop short, medium and long-term plans.
• Driven self-starter; able to work independently and manage results.
• Ability to see big picture but understand details and operational realties.
• Professional work experience in a health care company or fast-paced startup, preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, in both written and verbal form desirable.
• University degree in business administration, law or social sciences. Master studies would be highly appreciated.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager. Thorough knowledge of HR best practices and experience in implementing HR frameworks and policies.
