Job Description

Objective:

We are looking for a passionate System Test Engineer to collaborate with the planning, estimation and execution of test activities to ensure a correct functionality of automotive products, in specific, Perfectly Keyless ECUs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the System V&V team and other project fields, such as, Software, System, PjM, etc. to accomplish project goals and meet deliverables timeline.
• Be part of the execution of the project's System Test strategy along with the System V&V team.
• Design, creation, automation and execution of test content to ensure a correct functionality of automotive Perfectly Keyless ECUs.
• Create test plans, procedures and infrastructure.
• Documentation of test items, deliverables and artifacts.
• Execute tests according to defined test procedures and scenarios.
• Identify and log defects after test cycles.
• Assist with classification, management and resolution of system defects.
• Be part of technical reviews for the specification of system requirements, architecture and designs.
• Follow established quality processes and standards for formal delivery of test artifacts.
• Look for in-depth solutions for engineering problems, improve or develop new methods and approaches with product applications to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Promote continuous change of processes and methods for the increment of productivity and quality, while reducing costs.
• Complete specific work as assigned with minimal assistance.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electronics, Software, Computer Science or equivalent engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in System Validation and Verification.
• System Integration and Qualification testing.
• Black box testing.
• Good knowledge about Electronics, Micro-Controllers (8, 16 and/or 32 bit), Embedded C and Compilers.
• CAPL scripting.
• Good understanding about Automotive Communication protocols (e.g., CAN).
• Good knowledge about UDS diagnostic communication protocol.
• Previous experience with HiL testing for automotive products.
• Previous exposure to AUTOSAR architecture (Boot, BSW) is a plus.
• Experience with in-circuit debuggers (e.g., iSystem’s).
• Experience with HiL tooling (e.g., Vector VT System).
• Good collaborative and communication skills.

Additional Information

• Travel might be required.
• Proficient English level.
