Optoro continues to work primarily remote due to COVID-19. Interviews and onboarding for new candidates will be done remotely for the foreseeable future.

Job purpose

Optoro is looking to hire a field marketing manager to be responsible for demand generation and client marketing for Optoro’s event-based and digital efforts, through a number of marketing channels including but not limited to: marketing events and conferences, sales collateral, account-based efforts, prospect targeting, client marketing, and more. This individual should have a successful track record of fostering valuable partnerships with sales and helping them hit their goals through custom and personalized field marketing strategies and tactics.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with sales & marketing stakeholders to build marketing events (virtual and in-person) and program calendars to increase awareness, drive engagement, generate leads, and support conversion rates.
  • Manage all aspects of event coordination including: strategy, objectives materials creation, event messaging/marketing, signage, giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations,registration, agenda scheduling, staffing & logistics.
  • Manage account-based marketing activities (ABM), in partnership with sales, including: developing strategy, concepting new campaign ideas, executing campaigns with the support of cross-functional teams.
  • Manage client marketing activities, in partnership with the client success team, to engage existing clients and generate awareness for new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Conduct post-event/campaign evaluations and ROI analysis; report and share results and recommendations with sales team and marketing teams.
  • Strategize, order and deliver promotional items to support sales & events as needed.
  • Research industry events and marketing/campaign opportunities and evaluate sponsorship based on Optoro’s objectives and target audience.
  • Maintain event and campaign documents - budgets, calendars, checklists, run-of-shows, etc.
  • Plan and execute client marketing campaigns, including webinars, events, and digital marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, including hands-on experience managing and executing digital and in-person events
  • Proven experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy
  • Experience partnering with an enterprise sales team
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong communication skills – written and oral
  • You are entrepreneurial and work well in a rapidly changing environment
  • You are creative, innovative, and always think outside the box
  • Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects at a time
  • You are metric driven and have the ability to draw insight from complex marketing data
