As the Ecommerce Manager in the Tax & Accounting Professionals (TAP) Campaign Planning team, you will be responsible for creating and mobilizing integrated marketing plans that fuel continued growth in Thomson Reuters’ $800M+ segment. Reporting to the Head of TAP Marketing’s Campaign Planning team, you will be in a key role for turning marketing strategy into fast-moving, impactful, customer-centric marketing programs to drive acquisition, retention, cross-sell, and upsell —with specific focus on direct sales/e-commerce .

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with segment marketing team to ensure goal alignment, collaborate on creative direction, and drive iterative and incremental program deliverables
  • Develop acquisition, retention, cross-sell, and upsell marketing plans to meet business objectives, including pure digital e-commerce sales targets
  • Understand customer personas, pain points, and buyer/user journeys with Thomson Reuters to inform relevant, personalized, and impactful campaigns
  • Set and own aggressive ROI goals for campaigns; monitor closely to track and share performance
  • Develop lean marketing briefs and plan overviews ensuring full team alignment and quick execution
  • Manage detailed campaign plans through thoughtful planning, content integration, and effective translation into demand generation programs and activities
  • Build a data-driven learning agenda that infuses continuous testing and learning into every campaign
  • Work closely with demand generation marketing team to ensure timely and impactful execution
  • Seek and implement opportunities to improve the planning process and increase team efficiency
  • Lead significant projects, programs and business initiatives as needed

  • Effective goal-driven campaign plans supporting range of business goals
  • Efficient and effective segment marketing funnel and direct sales conversions
  • Delivery of marketing’s financial targets for the segment
  • Consistent customer-centric view across all marketing actions

Skills & Experiences

  • BA or BS degree required; MBA degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing planning, program execution, and campaign strategy
  • Customer-centric, high-achieving self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative atmosphere
  • Team player with the ability to foster strong relationship across multiple levels and functions
  • Skilled at creative problem solving and leading teammates to achieve objectives
  • Track record of leveraging new and emerging demand generation techniques and technologies
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices in paid search, programmatic display, search engine optimization, and driving organic traffic
  • Proven ability to drive direct sales via e-commerce marketing strongly preferred
  • Entrepreneurial ‘can do’ approach with an adaptable, change-oriented mindset
  • Highly analytical approach; adept at modeling campaign budgets and ROI scenarios
  • Experience in an agile (this team uses scrum) and matrixed organization preferred
  • Experience leveraging customer insights to drive campaign strategy
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and with teams of any reporting level
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
