Group Description
The Corporate Functions Business Data Leader (BDL) organization within DMI provides business enablement and relationship management across multiple Wells Fargo lines of business including HR, Legal, Audit, Wells Fargo Technology, Public Affairs, and the COO. This organization also governs and manages six data domains (HR, Legal, Marketing and Relationship Management (MRM), IT Management, Channels & Interactions, and Wells Fargo Administration) and leads the development and operation of the domain Authorized Provisioning Points (APP) for data.
Position Overview:
The Shared Data Services Consultant is an individual contributor that will be responsible for technical and governance aspects of data provisioning and acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for the data and systems that support business units including but not limited to Wells Fargo Technology (WFT), Marketing and Relationship Management (MRM), Channels & Interactions (C & I), Legal, Human Resources (HR) and Wells Fargo Administration.
This role will partner heavily with the Business Enablement, Business Partners and Wells Fargo Technology (WFT) to analyze how legacy data applications that support their business will map into the new enterprise data strategy.
Other Key Responsibilities:
• Document requirements in collaboration with Business Enablement, Business Partners and Wells Fargo Technology (WFT) to ensure project-level business epics, stories and data requirements are captured accurately and completely.
• Perform data profiling to understand data in systems of record (SORs) and map data elements accurately to tactical and target state solutions.
• Act as a catalyst and educator to socialize Authorized Provisioning Points (APP) DMI capabilities, consumption and distribution solutions.
