We are seeking a Sr. Strategic Account Manager, based out of the California geography. This is an experienced level sales position responsible for selling the entire line of ADC Products to regional based and/or key accounts. The position may require trade, market access, hospital/institutional and other channel specific expertise. The selling process includes developing new business in defined regional location and/or key accounts, as well as growing existing customer base. It includes determining customer needs, developing account specific strategies, creating customer commitment to change, and implementing conversion (training and start up) upon close. The position includes any of the following customer types: closed-door pharmacies, chain drug, mass merchandisers, food and wholesale, DME/HME, Mail Order, Post-Acute Care facilities, Acute care Hospitals, and Managed Care.

This position will cover California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii.

What You'll Do

The main responsibilities for this role include:

  • Selling, including cross divisional initiatives and contract development.
  • Assess business impact of contracting opportunities to include overall profitability and impact on sales and margin.
  • Working to ensure optimal contract value and efficient implementations and training.
  • Account Management/Customer Care.
  • Leadership and self development.
  • Effectively manage assigned budget while maximizing return on investment.

Experience You'll Bring

Required

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
  • Three or more years experience in a sales and/or marketing role that involved working closely with customers/clients to deliver results
  • Outstanding consultative selling skills
  • Proven ability to identify/define business questions and complex business issues, conduct analysis, formulate actionable ideas and recommend/sell a point-of view to customers
  • High energy, selfstarter that is assertive, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity, exhibits a bias for action and demonstrates good executive presence
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels in a customers organization
  • Innovative and creative
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage consumer insights to identify and evaluate creative ideas, focusing on those that will create value for customers and ADC Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and quick recall
  • Strong analytical skills (i.e., ROI calculation, forecasting and planning), and mastery of using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for analysis and presentations

Preferred:

Experience in health care (Rx, OTC, managed care), consumer packaged goods and/or retail preferred

This position may be hired at a different level, depending on the experience of the candidate.
