What is this opportunity?
Reporting to and supporting 2 Regional Vice Presidents, Mortgage Specialists BC. The Executive Assistant works collaboratively with both RVP’s and must be organized and flexible; and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that is results-driven and partnership oriented. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
What will you do?
Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the regions; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is often confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.
Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
Plan, coordinate and ensure the Regional President’s schedules are followed and respected.
Work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to, at times, work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Assist with event planning/events.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
2 - 4 years’ experience providing administrative support at the executive level.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms.
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, clients, external partners and donors.
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
Post-secondary is considered an asset.
