Product Application Specialist - MR

This is a home based role with travel to our customer sites. The role can be location anywhere in the UK or Ireland.

Purpose of the role:

You will be an essential part of our Product team, supporting and providing expert advice throughout our sales process.

Responsibilities:

Applications

  • Manage and Support UK MR Reference Sites, providing a proactive approach to ensure:
  • Good relations maintained between the customer and Siemens Healthineers
  • Provide regular Siemens Healthineers presence onsite
  • To support, and be the direct point of contact, for any problems and issues (liaising closely with Regional Sales Manager and Customer Services Manager)
  • Provide / Arrange appropriate training as required by customer
  • Manage all aspects of Siemens Healthineers / Customer agreement, supported by the MR Business Manager
  • Support UK Customer Site visits
  • Support MR specific Image Review / Workstation demonstrations
  • Ensure reference site protocols are optimised and image quality is first class, with example cases on the system
  • Responsible for maintaining and keeping the Image Review Workstation up to date with latest software version and appropriate image library of cases

Sales / Product

  • To provide technical product support for MR Upgrade Programme and Option Upgrades
  • To deliver product presentations and support equipment demonstrations related to the MR Upgrade Programme
  • To support the Sales team with quotes using the OSC/CPQ tool
  • To provide support for Trial Licenses, including quotations aligned to the Trial.
  • To support the Sales / Product teams with expert clinical knowledge at Customer / Sales Meetings
  • Keep up to date with competitor developments / new products
  • Provide support in answering application related questions within Tender responses:
  • Using Image Review Workstation / System Simulators to perform checks of information required to provide necessary and robust answers
  • Using Reference Sites access to perform checks of information required to provide necessary and robust answers.
  • To prepare and respond product related responses to elements of tenders in association with the Bids Team in an accurate and timely manner.
  • To develop and maintain relationships with product groups at Head Office in Germany
  • To develop marketing strategy with the MR Business Manager and National Sales Manager
  • To develop marketing material together with the MR Business Manager and the Marketing Department
  • To support local / international exhibitions

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Candidates should be qualified Radiographers with clinical MRI experience on Siemens MR systems.
  • HCPC / CORU Registered Radiographer
  • Highly effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work successfully independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility regarding regular travel throughout Great Britain & Ireland and spending significant time away from home during the working week.
  • Full Driving Licence
