Job Description

Calling all Senior UI/UX Designers -- Equifax is growing! Equifax is re-inventing the role of a modern, digital credit bureau! We're hiring a Senior User Experience Designer who will work with product managers and the engineering team to innovate, create and deliver the best-in-class desktop and mobile products.

Utilizing a full range of skills including user research, facilitation, wire-framing, interaction design, prototyping, and visual design, this role will be involved in all aspects of product development from ideation with engineering and product to bring these experiences to life for businesses and consumers. The Senior UI/UX Designer will use creative problem-solving skills to continually challenge the team to think beyond the expected, and will have a proven track record of delivering elegant, world-class design solutions in a fast paced collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do

• You will lead the product vision by designing user stories, user flows and wireframes based on insights gleaned from user research, user testing, and UX best practices
• You will architect user experiences optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
• You will identify UX design problems and devise elegant solutions
• You will make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to new functions and features
• You will collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• You ask smart questions and champion new ideas
• You will take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
• You will facilitate Design Thinking workshops
• You will lead customer research activities and report on findings
• You will participate in the continuous improvement of customer experience tools and processes
• You will be part of the delivery scrum for your product area

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a senior UX Designer or UX Lead
• BA/BS in Interaction Design, preferably in UX related fields of Human Factors or Graphic Design
• Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for web applications
• You are fluent with high-fidelity design, sketching, and prototyping tools, e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or similar programs
• You have the ability to identify opportunities for change, ideate on concepts, advocate for the needs of our customers, and lead design from empathy to iteration to deliver human-centered solutions
• You are comfortable designing for multiple platforms including web, iOS, Android, and Windows
• You create user stories, personas, storyboards, information architecture, prototypes and wireframes to translate complex requirements into frictionless user flows
• You are an exceptional communicator and storyteller with excellent presentation and analytical skills
• You can visualize, prototype, and discuss intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations to highly technical documents and diagrams and ensure a consistent experience across different platforms
• You have experience using quantitative data and metrics, qualitative feedback, user research, competitive analysis, conducting user research, facilitating interviews, workshops, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, and understand design usability and accessibility concerns
• You have experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and working with external vendors

Extra Points for any of the Following

• Master’s degree in interaction design, related field or equivalent experience
• Skilled in UX Design and Research and Design Thinking facilitation and/or service design
• Experience with Equifax products, the financial industry or similar
