Job Description Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) is a cross-branch collaboration development program w/ the goal of proving a hypersonic capability across multiple platforms. We are looking for a mid-level Logistics Professional to perform the following duties:
The employee shall provide program management support to the CPS program in the development, review, and approval of logistics products to include the following:
1. Generate reports, schedules, recommendations, plans, performance metrics, and briefs as necessary to support logistics management of the CPS program.
2. Make recommendations on the extent to which a Performance Based Logistics support strategy may be used based on weapon system operational availability and life cycle cost.
3. Support all aspects of Integrated Product Support (IPS), in accordance with the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) IPS Element Guidebook, to include Product Support Management (PSM), Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Support, Maintenance Planning and Management, Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T), Technical Data, Support Equipment, Training and Training Support, Manpower and Personnel, Facilities and Infrastructure, and Computer Resources. The contractor shall use resultant data to support the planning, integration, coordination, analysis, and evaluation of IPS activities in relation to program milestones as it relates to a DoD 5000.80 “Operation of the Middle Tier of Acquisition” program. The Contractor shall place specific emphasis on supporting definition and development of IPS activities based on traditional DoD 5000.02 methodologies, while maintaining relevance to DoD 5000.80.
4. Provide support in the development and maintenance of the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).
5. Provide support in the area of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and Logistics Product Data (LPD) processes in accordance with GEIA-STD-0007 (Logistics Product Data), GEIA-HB-0007 (Logistics Product Data Handbook), and SAE TA-HB-0007-1 (Logistics Product Data Reports Handbook). The Contractor shall support the development of sustainment artifacts based on LPD and prime contractor deliverables to support sustainment activities in accordance with NAVSEA and SSP processes to enable integration with inherent support systems on intended platforms.
6. Support evaluation of availability to cost based on Government provided Supportability Analysis information to provide the overall best value product support concept.
7. Provide Facilities and Infrastructure engineering support to overall CPS facilities and infrastructure planning and implementation, to include physical security planning and support for oversight of CPS magazine, training, and other facilities projects.
8. Provide production support to overall Full-Rate Production planning. The Contactor shall support the development of plans and programs for all production activities to include weapon system design monitoring, production supply chain monitoring for production impacts, and funding alignment. The Contractor shall support the Government evaluation of the CPS weapon system prime contractor’s design for manufacturing readiness and producibility.
Support training efforts to include the following:
o Conduct research to support the development and revision of training plans.
o Review existing and supports the development of new training requirements in support of programs and systems.
o Make recommendations and prepares metrics to ensure fleet training requirements are met.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills a) A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least four (4) years of professional experience, OR
b) A master's degree in a relevant field and at least two (2) years of professional experience, OR
c) Demonstrated experience in Logistics
d) Hold a SECRET clearance
