Sr Financial Analyst, Stores Finance

Job Description

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis / reporting and completing ad hoc projects to support financial and business decision-making while working in a cross-functional, team-based environment. Primary responsibilities of this role are to consolidate the budget, financial forecast and earnings materials for the VS Store Operations function with a focus on the non-payroll expenses including: expense allocations, store and management travel, and supporting Store Operations. This role will work cross functionally with Store Operations, Regional and District Managers, and other cross-functional Finance partners.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a face-paced, team-based, cross-functional environment
• Deal with ambiguity and incomplete information while navigating analytical situations
• Develop flexible complex financial models, analyze and review significant amounts of data, problem solve, and develop executive level summaries
• Think independently; take an idea and move forward with a given set of parameters to develop a point of view on a specific topic.
• Work on multiple projects and priorities in a self-directed and time efficient manner
• Concisely communicate / summarize complex issues
• Complete special projects as directed

Build and maintain strong relationships with all cross-functional partners

Qualifications

• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to use/learn data warehouse database. SAP or similar system a significant plus.
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree a plus
• Comfortable with on-going change and group decision making
