Job Description

What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible to provide end to end service delivery support and provisioning functions as well as resources dispatch for both service delivery and assurance activities. You will manage daily service provisioning orders and arrange resources dispatch to ensure timely service delivery and repair to customers. You will maintain and enforce service delivery procedures as well as resource dispatch processes.

  • Supporting the ordering and installation of local loops for connections into Verizon’s data networks and meeting customer desired due date.
  • Providing external customer support - call local site contacts and validate technical requirements before placing orders with third parties.
  • Providing local customers with delivery milestones and serving as a local contact for customer inquiries concerning delivery of service.
  • Providing internal customer support – ensure provisioning systems are updated with planned delivery dates and milestones. Proactively communicate delays.
  • Working with implementation management and sales teams to overcome obstacles, provide technical guidance and recommendations to eliminate barriers to delivery.
  • Coordinating delivery of service with local telecom providers.
  • Supporting network engineering and optimization projects to maximize network resources while minimizing cost.
  • Performing basic circuit design and configuration of Verizon’s equipment in support of service delivery requirements.
  • Supporting local field operations with coordinating customer resources, scheduling site visits and customer activation timings.
  • Managing suppliers/PTT/vendors for smooth delivery of service and meet customer desired due dates.
  • Proactively monitoring and escalating missed milestones to suppliers and vendors as required.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English (written and verbal).

Even better if you have:

  • Ability to manage several accounts, coordinating with multinational teams and good customer facing communication skills.
  • Ability to be highly focused on progress and results of deliveries, with the ability to operate with a degree of autonomy and able to operate within protocol in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing Telco ordering and Order management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Data center and Telecom equipment.
  • Ability to embrace ethics, integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage the expectations of stakeholders.
