Position title: Production & Supply Planning Manager – Rubbermaid Commercial Products

Location: Hillegom, NL

Reports to: Senior Supply Chain Manager

Contract type: Permanent, full-time

Job summary

As a Production & Supply Planning Manager you will be responsible for production and supply planning processes for our manufacturing site in Hillegom, where we produce hygiene consumables of Rubbermaid Commercial Products.

You will manage a team of 6 people. Your overall goal will be to ensure that all planning and operational activities are done correctly, efficiently and on time. You will be part of a small, but fast-growing production site with a global scope of customers and cooperation.

Key responsibilities:

Production and supply planning

• Single point of contact for any global supply shortages or issues with soap refills produced
• Provide guidance and decision support to team members concerning planning of materials and production of skincare products to cover global demand
• Provide capacity planning for the different production lines in the plant
• Provide leadership to ensure capacity shortages and global supply/demand imbalances are proactively addressed
• Ensure system planning parameters are maintained in SAP (e.g. safety stock, BOM’s, routings, etc.)
• Actively look for improvements in the planning processes

Operations & delivery

• Managing the day to day operations in the small warehouse for our raw materials, components and finished goods
• Working closely with our external logistics providers
• Deliver inventory targets - service level (globally), Day on Hand and Scheduling Attainment
• Prepare and lead S&OP meetings for Skincare products
• Provide reporting and analysis support for other operations performance indicators
• Ensure cycle count of materials on shop floor to improve inventory accuracy
• Partner with manufacturing, R&D, and engineering teams to effectively manage new product introductions, end of life run outs, sustainable projects, machine maintenance, customer promotions, and other optimization projects
• Team & performance management including succession planning/back-up support

Minimum qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in production or supply planning, or operations
• Good knowledge of supply chain concepts (such as MPS –Master Production Scheduling and MRP – Material Requirement Planning)
• Team leading experience
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Good command of MS Office, especially Excel

Preferred qualifications:

• Good understanding of S&OP process in global business environment
• Experience with ERP system. Knowledge of SAP would be an asset
• Strong people management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Team player
