Product Managers at Chegg are mission-driven, visionary, analytical and detail-oriented. They rally teams of engineers, data scientists, designers and user researchers around common goals, and get things done using a combination of creativity, communication and people skills.

We are looking for a Staff Product Manager that can evangelize Chegg’s learning products to fuel the growth of subscribers and questions with a focus on high quality and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop a clear, compelling vision for your product, informed by student stories and needle-moving business impact
• Get buy-in with Chegg's executive leadership on the Why and the What and identify the biggest rocks to build a product around
• Leverage a deeply analytical mindset to ask the right questions and wield both – data and instinct – to make the right short-term trade-offs
• Rally your team of engineers, data-scientists, designers and content around common goals and vision
• Have stellar execution against the roadmap advocating for student-first products and data-informed trade-offs along the way
• Be able to build relationships across the organization, earn trust and elevate the team to its highest potential
• Communicates to inform, debate, share
• Be flexible and adaptable to feedback from all sides and continually take the team forward

Requirements

• Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics degree, or equivalent practical experience or training
• S. with at least a minor in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
• 8+ years of work experience, at least 5 as a Product Manager, ideally in a high growth environment
• Led cross-functional teams of 10+ people, and ideally managed a small team of 1- 2 Product Managers
• Preferred qualifications include:
• Experience with the student demographics as an educator or within an ed-tech company
• Experience in creating interactive learning products, and particularly math learning products If this could be you, please apply!
