Our goal is to make transportation-as-a-service a reality for organizations of all sizes and all industries. We’re looking for a product manager to lead development of our organization set up & experience as well as platforms to empower Lyft teams to provide rapid, reliable and scalable solutions to our customers. As PM for Lyft Business (B2B) Org Platform & Growth team, you’ll be critical in driving organization growth, delivering a seamless and scalable experience to our business customers, and building a platform to enable product teams across Lyft to launch and rapidly deliver business facing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Understand Lyft's strategic and competitive position. Set your team's goals, success metrics and roadmap to align with Lyft's mission and drive maximum impact based on data analysis, market research and usability studies
- Completely own your team's products, existing or new, from ideation, through development, to launch, growth and maintenance
- Lead and align cross functional partners and teams: engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, business partners and operations to drive a shared vision
- Communicate clearly roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels
- Define vision and strategy for Lyft Business’ Org Management platform s, including our organization sign up and onboarding strategy, people and access management and our product suite strategy
- Drive strategic initiatives to deliver Lyft business organization and account growth and profitability
- Build customer relationships and wor k with our sales, customer support, UXR, and UX teams to deeply understand our business customers and their needs
- Partner deeply with engineering to define ideal system architecture, including integrating our product with third party software.
- Develop frameworks for how to engage with other teams at Lyft and determine how to prioritize incoming requests across Lyft product teams and other platform teams
- Set a clear go-to-market strategy alongside product marketing
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, product design or equivalent consultant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or relevant work experience preferred
- Experience in building platforms, tooling and systems for highly complex domains
- Enjoy working on deeply technical products with significant scale expectations and a passionate engineering team
- Passion for Lyft and what we are trying to achieve in sustainable urban transportation
- Natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way. Be able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
- Excellent judgment and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a product ecosystem
- Strong communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level -- within teams, within the company, to users, to press, and other audiences
- Experience leading post-launch optimizations including developing testing strategies
- Ability to conceptualize, manage and prioritize multiple projects for stakeholders
- Detail orientated with superior organizational skills -- balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and requests should be second nature to you
- Prior experience in building self service enterprise customer lifecycle capabilities across onboarding, access management preferred
