Please work with your recruiter and your hiring manager to understand any location constraints of a particular role and to communicate your location preferences. **Dropbox is authorized to do business in many, but not all, states. If you are not located in or able to work from a state where Dropbox is registered, you will not be eligible for employment. Our mission is to unleash the world’s creative energy by designing a more enlightened way of working. In addition to our San Francisco headquarters, we operate in 12 offices around the world.
Team Description
Our engineering team simplifies the way people work together. We build a family of products that handle over a billion files a day for more than 500 million users in 180 countries. With our broad mission and extensive scale, there are countless opportunities to make an impact. Creating sophisticated products begins with lots of prototyping and iteration to explore the problem space. We care deeply about collaboration and feedback during the development process. It culminates in careful attention to edge cases and error handling, polished code, and phenomenal tests to ensure that we ship a reliable product that never compromises data integrity or security. Every Dropbox software release reaches hundreds of millions of people, and the user-to-engineer and petabyte-to-engineer ratio are both very high.
Role Description
The Dropbox internship program is a top-notch learning experience for engineering students from all backgrounds. You are paired with a dedicated mentor who is committed to your success throughout your 12-week internship. You can expect to have ownership of your project, collaborate with full-time engineers, and receive consistent and effective feedback. Our goal is to create a robust and impactful learning experience.
