Product Research at SurveyMonkey aims to conduct research that helps inform strategic decisions for our products, all informed by an understanding of our customers and target market. As a company that creates a research platform for others to use, our researchers are in a unique position to be experts, providing scaled guidance and expertise on a use case in our product to millions of users worldwide.

What we're looking for

During your internship, you will work with survey scientists and user researchers on SurveyMonkey's product research team to conduct research. You will learn about designing and running research projects that benefit SurveyMonkey products, which includes research design, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting the findings, that help promote a great customer experience with our products.

You will

  • Design, run, and analyze product research projects from start to finish
  • Conduct analyses of data, both qual and quant
  • Present your research findings across multiple teams
  • Draft, edit, and program survey questionnaires
  • Support participant recruitment, study prep, and note taking
  • Fact-check reports and other data products

You have

  • Enrolled in a post-graduate degree program in survey research, experimental psychology, human-computer interaction, human factors, or another related field
  • Familiarity with a variety of research methods
  • Experience summarizing data for a variety of audiences, including non-researchers
  • Worked in a collaborative environment
