As the Director of Product Marketing for the ONESOURCE Indirect Tax suite of products, you will be in a unique position to help grow a world-class suite of products that provides automation and accuracy across workflows from determination through remittance and compliance. We are looking for an exceptional and creative product marketer who has experience with positioning and value proposition delivery and deeply understands customer buying behaviors and drivers. You will play a critical role in funneling insights from customers to product teams and conversely, translate releases into successful launches and collateral that resonates. This role has a tremendous impact on the trajectory of the customer segments that sell ONESOURCE Indirect Tax and plays a key role in bringing together product, sales, and marketing to maximize growth

  • Passionate about product positioning and messaging that resonates with buyers and decision-makers including CTO's
  • Curious about technologies and industries. You are detail-oriented and want to learn what differentiates your products from that of competitors but capable of distilling that information into simple stories that are informative and easy to understand
  • An evangelist who loves the products they support and can energize and rally internal teams around a common cause
  • Excellent management skills and capable of mentoring and leading a team of high-performing product marketers
  • Adaptable to the styles and needs of different stakeholders – sales, product management, marketing, and other go-to-market teams.
  • Driven to position sales teams for success by creating quality collateral that tells clear stories through customer narratives

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Indirect Tax product team, marketing, and business partners to align on growth targets, marketing priorities, and go-to-market planning; work cross-functionally to drive revenue growth and achieve shared objectives.
  • Lead agile cross-functional teams to manage product launches
  • Create messaging and position strategies that will maximize the opportunity to succeed for a world-class suite of Indirect Tax products
  • Develop process and methodologies to identify, track, and improve critical metrics (cost per acquisition, qualified leads, market share..)
  • Develop and execute detailed win/loss analysis and funnel feedback to product and go-to-market teams
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product marketers.
  • Identifying and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative feedback on products from clients and partners and share a clear voice of the customer to product, design, and technology teams.
  • Working closely with sales, solution consulting, retention, and customer support teams to gather all the information required by product teams to make product strategy decisions.
  • Provide prioritization from Customer Markets organization to product management.
  • Identify long-term market opportunities based on research and strategic analysis of our customers and the industries they serve.
  • Partner with a product to build-out and support customer advisory board to gather customer feedback and drive innovation
  • Ensure our product positioning and messaging differentiates our product portfolio in the marketplace, resonates with our target customers, and is in support of our broader company vision and objectives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Product Marketing or related roles supporting a SaaS product
  • Experience leading product marketing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to understand commercial, technological, and strategic drivers in order to build and execute multi-year strategy.
  • Demonstrated prior experience setting and driving successful delivery of complex product marketing campaigns.
  • Experience successfully leading cross-functional agile teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and multi-channel marketing programs.
  • Proven ability to establish a broad vision and take ideas from concept through to successful release.
  • Ability to understand and interpret fundamental workings and trends within a target industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA Preferred.
