Eaton’s Industrial Sector has an opening for a Digital Marketing Analyst. This role will sit at the Hydraulic HQ location in Eden Prairie, MN.
Position Overview
Lead multi-channel B2B digital analytics strategies, standardize to action across the regions. Ideal candidate will have the analytical skills, technical experience, business acumen and communication skills to successfully develop insights to inform decisions and recommendations that drive business results across our global digital experience, marketing communications and sales. Collaborate and partner with global business leaders to define data needs and measure marketing performance across digital channels; (s)he will be a key driver of business insights and strategic thinking for the global marketing organization.

In this function you will:
- Responsible for developing the digital marketing analytics strategy and effective global measurement structure.
- Build systems and processes to initiate, collect, combine, analyze and translate information related to campaign effectiveness, customer journey and segmentation, website tagging and analytics, predictive modeling, lifetime customer value and marketing mix.
- Translate large multidimensional data sets into more manageable, insightful and interpretable data and design experiments to measure effectiveness, broadly sharing knowledge and insights.
- Integrate digital data into marketing analysis and consumer behavior; provide digital attribution solutions and optimization recommendations/support from SEO to tools and online journeys.
- Synthesize diverse quantitative findings to simulate the net impact of digital marketing; quantify the effectiveness of programs and provide recommendations to improve the Return on Investment (ROI).
- Generate actionable insights in order to promote continuous learning and optimization.
- Establish, track and report key performance metrics against objectives and industry benchmarks.
- Educate business partners and ensure alignment on KPIs and web metrics broadly; strong ability to describe and present data to non-technical audiences, including trends, projections and insights.
- Be passionately in tune with the latest web analytics developments, online behavior, tools, services and trends, including SEO, SEM.
- Manage internal/external stakeholders and vendors to maximize value received across analytics, development agencies, SEM/SEO agencies, etc.
- Work closely within the marketing communications team globally (AMER, EMEA, APAC) to coordinate messaging and promotions and deploy campaign messaging, tools, promotions and corresponding measurements for Return on Investment (ROI) analysis.
- Work closely with digital team to develop content and collateral for new website platform, including personalization (Adobe Target).

Eaton has announced it has reached an agreement to sell its Hydraulics Business to Danfoss A/S. This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of Q1 2021 and this position is expected to remain with the Hydraulics Business and would transfer to Danfoss A/S. upon close. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Hydraulics Business when the transaction closes, Danfoss A/S will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
Qualifications
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in project managing marketing initiatives
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience of digital analytics experience
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Eden Prairie, MN will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- 7+ years’ experience project managing marketing initiatives with an emphasis on digital marketing campaigns or projects with significant digital marketing components
- 7+ years’ experience building campaigns for technology products that appeal to a technical audience
Position Success Criteria:
- Proven experience with multi-channel marketing principles and analytics strategies.
- Experience in analytic methodologies, data governance, diverse data sources and experience with marketing principles.
- Able to analyze large sets of raw data, draw conclusions and relationships and develop actionable recommendations.
- Experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as multivariate regression analysis, predicative modeling, advertising effectiveness, consumer profiling and response prediction.
- Knowledge of and experience with designing and interpreting statistically valid site and site-related tests (i.e. email, search, offer tests, etc.).
- Excellent understanding of relational databases, data warehousing and website technology.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work and priorities.
- Experience with CRM, Microsoft Power BI and SQL and SAS, Google Analytics; Adobe Analytics preferred.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint required, as well enthusiasm and willingness to work with other advanced data-visualization software such as Tableau, PowerBI.
- Can lead discussions on data collection, marketing operations, data processing and data storage/updating issues.
- Experience working in a large organization with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment (including third party agencies).
- Must be an innovative, creative thinker with strong leadership and prioritization skills.
- Must be a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm towards in a matrix team environment.
- Must be analytical and customer-service oriented to support internal clients.
