Our USWA team establishes relationships with wealth management firms and platforms to distribute BlackRock's alpha-seeking and iShares investment capabilities and drives the adoption of BlackRock's portfolio construction and digital wealth technologies by financial advisors. The team has roughly 200 colleagues between Boston, Princeton, and San Francisco and are at the forefront of reinventing the industry. The group launched an Operations, Analytics, Technology, & Business Strategy Team and is now growing. The role is 50% Sales Operations and Market Data Analytics, 30% Product Management, and 20% Business Process Innovation. This role will craft project plans for software engineers and identifying new technology to implement throughout BlackRock’s sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, process, and complete support tasks for desk and field salespeople using CRM
  • Run analytical reports
  • Prepare marketing materials and sales proposals
  • Aggregate, sort, and display data
  • Produce sales activity and performance reports
  • Assist sales teams in data lookup and entry
  • Research and resolve all Separately Managed Account administrative/operational issues: fee calculations/issues, billing inquires, PC issues and any other account Issues
  • Use technology, critical thinking, and process management methodology to improve efficiency across the sales desk
  • Improve sales and sales support processes
  • Automate manual tasks
  • Identify useful software to implement
  • Assist in running firm-wide campaigns and initiatives

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Economics, Finance, Business, IT, Engineering, or Computer Science preferred)
  • Financial Services/Technology Industry experience preferred
  • Technology proficiency and analytical skills
  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, VBA)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Capital Market’s knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
