Your Role and Responsibilities Project Manager is typically responsible for delivering the project from the phase of inception to closure. The main mission is to work on both- simple and complex projects.
They will also work on large programs of work involving multiple organizations and technologies with high business visibility. Position is located in Bratislava
About the role:
Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the delivery of simple or complex projects to the satisfaction of the Network Engineering Team and the Business.
Responsible for setting up and running project boards and reporting progress to the business and the Stakeholder Management and Reporting
PM develops an integrated project plan structure. Performs project plan maintenance to incorporate updates and changes to the master project plan.
The PM will report on project costs and forecasts on a regularly scheduled basis, normally monthly.
The PM is responsible for risk management across the project and will create and maintain the master risk register.
Will function as primary point of contact with the business and relevant Service Delivery team for all project related matters.
This role works in a collaborative manner with all team and vendor resources of a project throughout the life cycle.
The project manager influences others within the whole project team using their technical expertise to identify and address project issues
Is responsible for Project Communications. Develops and distributes internal project communications, and participates in the development and review of firm-wide project communications
Travel - May be required, depending on the project assigned.
Since our organization is supporting a variety of international projects (mostly within EU), some travel may be required and work from home on weekends - based on project requirements).
Starting salary 2100 EUR depends on experience.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise - Minimum 3 years of experience as Iteration Manager or Project Manager in Agile environment,
- Mindset of coach. Master of the craft of teaching, familiar with the agile practices, work and the roles. Curious mind, always looking to learn and improve
- Solid understanding of Agile
- Solid Project Management Experience
- Experience in leadership and setting expectations for a distributed team of skilled professionals, which does not involve people management responsibilities.
- Basic computer network understanding
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, engineers and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Strong critical and analytical thinking and research skills.
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise - Strong understanding and experience in project management.
- Very strong collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to create and foster a collaborative work. In depth strong facilitation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Master’s degree
