Based out of San Francisco, this role requires someone skilled at providing creative thinking to identify and develop cutting-edge strategies for all contract management and administration responsibilities for our global business agreements.

What you’ll achieve

  • Scaling global contracting process and unlocking contract metadata:
    • Oversee, optimize, and manage operational programs for all inbound and outbound agreements in partnership with the legal team, sales operations, finance and other key stakeholders. Drive system implementations and improvements to have a high impact on the sales contracting process.
    • Project manage the globalization of our contracting processes and deliver automated, self-service solutions for our sales team.
    • Collaborate with legal leaders to identify and implement metrics, policies and practices to optimize the efficiency of overall contracting processes.
    • Responsible for monthly review/audit of our revenue and vendor agreements for public company reporting.
    • Partner with our technology providers/partners to help inform and guide product roadmaps and early adoption and beta testing programs (ex. Ironclad, DocuSign, and Salesforce)
    • Own signature acquisition process, including ensuring contracts are executed in accordance with company policy.
    • Transform manual contract reviews into walkable, self-service experiences that may result in moving past legal to procurement.
  • Drive Tools, Technology and Process Management:
    • Identify and implement process improvements and solutions around department systems, technologies and controls.
    • Define centralized resources that are well-maintained and accurate to assist new legal team members with onboarding.
    • Create short and long term operations roadmaps supporting legal practice areas; including contract management, e-signature, and contract analytics.
  • Communication, Collaboration and Change Management:
    • Proactively design sales training and partner with sales enablement, finance, and deal desk teammates regarding what issues the sales reps are seeing and options to resolve and make the contracting process easier.
    • Persist and communicate when significant difficulties arise and that can throw off timelines.
    • Apply original, innovative thinking and continuous improvement to processes, products, systems, or services and manage change to better service customer needs.
    • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to legal and other cross-functional teams.

About You

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in legal operations or in a similar role, as well as having over 5 years of program or project management at hyper-growth technology company.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with cross-functional collaboration and partnerships with IT, Finance, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Business Technology and PeopleOps.
  • Comfortable working with and around technology.
  • Substantive knowledge of contracts, contract provisions, and general negotiation process is a plus.
  • Ironclad implementation and support experience is a plus.
  • Able to make decisions and move projects forward, sometimes with limited information.
  • Comfortable working within an environment where transparency is the norm.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong communication skills.
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be a champion for a better, faster and simpler way of doing things.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree or relevant experience
