Senior Accountant (Americas Inventory and GSL Ireland GL)

This role is responsible for Americas Inventory and GSL general ledger management. The following are responsibilities and tasks currently performed by the contractor, Theodore Wilson.

1. Review and approve cost and inventory adjustment, correcting journal entries for all Americas and GSL Ireland entities.
2. Review and approve cash journal entries and cash account reconciliation for GSL Ireland entities with an approval authorization up to $1M.
3. Review and approve Americas Inventory account reconciliations in Cadency.
4. Review and approve inventory accrual AP account reconciliations (account 2017). Assist and support WNS Americas GL teams to prepare reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
5. Prepare Americas Inventory reporting on a monthly basis for FP&A review and outlook.
6. Prepared Americas Inventory, E&O and POC variance analysis for Americas balance sheet package on a quarterly basis.
7. Assist and compile documentation for corporate year end audit for Americas Inventory, GSL Ireland entities and physical inventory verification.
8. Review and approve AGIS intercompany batches for intercompany entries.
9. Review and approve used inventory journal entries for US entities.
10. Assist and compile documentation for annual GSL Ireland PwC audit for revenue selections, cost selections, AP invoice selection, bank statements etc. starting in the end of February and ending in the middle June every year.
11. Review, approve and assist with 2227 Brazil revenue tax deferral account reconciliation on a monthly basis.
12. Assist with and review process documentation updates for inventory and intercompany processes. Review WNS DPMs.

Monthly and quarterly tasks described above are recurring in nature and need to be performed every month in order to comply with our policy and accounting controls established based on GAAP and SOX standards guidance. This role also supports and assist to troubleshoot reconciling items or issues with Americas inventory and inventory accrual AP account.
