Do you love to build software that interface MATLAB and Simulink with industrial plant sensor data?

As a member of the Industrial Connectivity team, you will develop new features, improve existing functionality and maintain code that enables users to interface MATLAB and Simulink with industrial plant sensors through industry standard protocols, such as OPC-UA and Modbus. Responsibilities will include managing full software lifecycle development in MATLAB and C/C++ to deliver command line interfaces, Simulink blocks and Apps to make it easy for customers use our solution to perform supervisory control and data acquisition.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Industrial Connectivity team you will:

  • Apply your industrial domain expertise to own and drive projects from early design stages through to completion by closely working with cross-functional teams
  • Design and implement features to provide interfaces with MATLAB and Simulink and standard industrial protocols
  • Create examples and demos for customers to demonstrate the potential of delivered features
  • Keep the stakeholders informed on development status, deliverables and risks
  • Participate in all team activities including planning, design reviews, code reviews and bashes

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with MATLAB, C/C++.
  • Demonstrated experience using object oriented concepts to design and develop software.
  • Experience with standard transports, protocols such as MODBUS, OPC-UA, OSI-PI, TCPIP, UDP, etc.
  • Simulink and Code generation experience a plus.
