The team is looking for a Diversity Program Specialist dedicated to keeping our diverse internal talent by leading our internal programs such as the Business Resource Groups, career growth development programs such as workshop series. This role will ensure underrepresented people have equitable opportunities to develop and grow their careers at Facebook by providing resources, skills, and enable opportunities for professional development. The ideal candidate has a program management background, a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a background in diversity & inclusion. We’re looking for someone to help us scale our diversity program for a truly global organization. You’ll help us create, communicate, and execute programs. You’ll work closely with our vendors, other teams across the organization, and leaders and learners across Facebook. Diversity Program Specialist Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with business leaders, L&D team, and vendors to plan and execute world class diversity experiences.
- Manage cross-functional projects.
- Collect and route inbound requests from FRL teams for diversity experiences and programs.
- Review and maintain the existing content, Workplace groups, and wikis to determine opportunities to improve and ensure the content is current and relevant and the best modality is employed.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally in order to support your designated offices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with professional diversity programs in corporate or university environments.
- Proven organizational and communication skills.
- Experience balancing multiple projects at different stages in the process.
- Experience building cross-functional relationships between departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment. Corporate preferred and tech industry preferred.
