Finance Manager, FRL Operations Finance

Job Description

The Operations Finance team supports FRL Operations team, which is responsible for Sourcing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Post-Sales services for our entire portfolio of products across Oculus and Portal. We focus on helping the Operations team to optimize performance across products and manage all expenses. This team is part of Facebook’s consumer hardware group, which includes Oculus and Portal and plans to release multiple products over the next few years. As FRL Finance professional on Operations Team, you will join the team that manages the finances for AR/VR and will be responsible for the creation, tracking, reporting and analysis of component costs and capital expenditures for all programs. You will work closely with business leaders in setting and tracking product cost targets and influencing business partners through the lifecycle of the product. You will also be leading various process improvement initiatives and developing decision making frameworks that help the team optimize on costs. Finance Manager, FRL Operations Finance Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership across planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
• Build thoughtful analyses to drive better investment decisions
• Help define and implement scalable financial processes and reports related to month-end and quarter-end close, including accruals and reporting
• Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management
• Manage Bill of materials costs and capital investments across all Oculus and Portal Products
• Develop decision frameworks for capacity planning
• Benchmark investments across our product portfolio
• Provide insights to business partners through variance analysis, forecasting and budgeting processes
• Own the P&L for AR, VR and Portal accessories programs

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent
• 7+ years of financial analysis experience
• Experience developing analytical frameworks and communicating concepts to leadership
• Experience working and solving problems independently, organizing workload and priorities, and completing tasks on time
• Experience partnering with and influencing key functional leaders
• Experience building financial models in Excel
• Experience with PowerPoint, Oracle or Hyperion
• Experience in applicable accounting concepts and financial planning

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• 3+ years of experience with hardware development process
• Experience managing diverse product portfolios
• Exposure to large scale product development
• Experience supporting Hardware development organizations
