Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in operating test tools and conducting analysis of test data to identify potential anomalies and breaking points in products.
  • Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience utilizing log files to debug and analyze issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-team technical discussions and decision making.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, troubleshoot issues and errors to resolution and to work efficiently with minimal guidance.

Google's projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Test new features, direct vendor teams that do manual testing, develop testing automation projects and build test plans alongside the developers.
  • Coordinate different teams and stakeholders to develop and progress a release to production.
  • Program manage testing efforts to ensure quality of products.
