What You'll Do

Product Operations team is looking for a Supply Chain Program Manager to be accountable for volume manufacturing readiness, total cost management, and BOM resiliency. This includes primarily but not exclusively management NPI Cost and Sourcing responsibilities (about 70% of time).

Your responsibility will be:

  • Manage cost BOM integrity, risk analysis, and supply chain strategy communication to the Ops and the BU teams
  • Perform BOM risk analysis, identifying and validating risk parts driving resolution or developing mitigation plans for all high risk parts, single and sole sourced rated components prior to First Customer Ship
  • Prepare the supply chain and manage a ramp plan to ensure continuity of material supply and delivery between proto and early production
  • Drive suppliers to meet or exceed committed performance by building relationships and trust
  • Understands all elements of HW & SW product cost, be able to clearly articulate the main cost drivers and cost avoidance opportunities
  • Coordinate with Global Sourcing managers and technical teams to achieve optimal product cost and supply chain resiliency
  • Communicate HW & SW commodity strategies to the BU and Operation teams
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain PM community to implement process innovations

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of a dynamic team which focuses on developing new Optical Products which are able to transport massive quantity of data across datacenters or long distances, and sustain these products along their entire lifecycle. For each new product development, a dedicated cross functional team is appointed which includes HW and SW engineers, program and project managers, quality engineers, test engineers, commodity managers and partners. You will work in an environment with extreme diversity in term of culture, geography and experience within the team and between different teams.

You will be supporting Optical Transport Business Units.

You have a track record of orders release, budget management and Microsoft Excel automation

In addition, you’re a self-starter with the highest work quality, have initiative and the excellent written and verbal skills makes you a phenomenal fit for our role!

At a minimum, we require:

  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain and/or Engineering.
  • Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English
  • 3-6 year’s related experience in supply chain, engineering or business analysis
  • Understanding of Bill Of Material (BOM) and Material Management (including cost drivers of BOM)
  • Experience of planning and scheduling material and prototype deliveries.
  • Experience with Data Analysis and Manufacturing; cost and lead time, analyzing data and provide options on mitigating risks.
  • Experience of developing options for components, suppliers, and manufacturing ramp challenges
  • Experience of managing inventories, excess and obsolete and purchase price variation
  • Understanding of cost-pricing tools and data base knowledge,
  • Strong use of Excel, Data Analysis tool and Power Point

Following skills is a plus:

  • Basic knowledge of coding with Python or R
