Our Data Centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates to deliver our innovative services. Managing stakeholders spread across time zones and cross-functional teams is a significant challenge and key to the success of our individual projects and overall programs. Facebook is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Program Manager to join our Strategic Diversity Partnership team within Facility Operations. This person will work at the leading edge of Workforce Development programs to help fill the growing needs in the communities where we hire. A key focus area will be managing our Co-Op Program across multiple locations. The Co-Op/Workforce Development Program Manager designs, implements, and continuously evolves business processes. In this role, you will work closely with key leaders and business stakeholders within Infrastructure Data Centers to optimize solutions for business problems. Co-Op/Workforce Development Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Develop and sustain repeatable process for workforce development programs at the Facebook Data Centers globally. Specifically, program-manage a Co-Op program across multiple locations.
  • Build and execute programs that ensure consistency across data centers through the development and implementation of consistent business processes.
  • Quantify pain points around operational issues and prioritize resources in areas that will deliver the greatest impact.
  • Review operational and business issues and help determine if process improvement or a technology solution is required.
  • Engage the business to capture detailed business requirements and clear functional details.
  • Lead/support all business readiness activities and project rollout plans for the Co-op Program.
  • Develop and lead an effective communication strategy
  • run weekly syncs to maintain proactive stance/awareness about issues.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
  • Some domestic and international travel required (10-20%).
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Public Relations, or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience, including proven project management, interpersonal and communication skills with high attention to detail, and a demonstrated track record of planning and executing large, complex programmatic efforts
  • Independent experience conducting stakeholder analysis, breaking down projects into milestones, and producing efficient project roadmaps
  • Analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills, with a clear focus under pressure in an ever-changing environment
  • Understanding of diversity programs and experience solving problems in various areas of the business without having domain expertise
  • Interpersonal skills, including relationship-building and “roll-up the sleeves” type of collaboration within a diverse, global, cross-functional team
  • Resourceful and action-oriented, with experience getting things done and overcoming obstacles through cross-functional collaboration and consensus-building
  • Demonstrated experience quickly adapting and learning new skill sets
  • Results-oriented and proactive, with experience executing on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in talent acquisition and/or building recruiting programs
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
