Technical Account Manager

Job Description

• Generate additional product, system and possibly solution business at the assigned customers
• Create long-term customer loyalty on a technical level.
• Support global customers with consistent technical solutions around the world.
• Enhance the technical interaction between QEM, SI and end customer in the value chain with the intention to optimize the Siemens position and end customer satisfaction (push-pull). The TAM is the technical "sparring partner" of the CAM/GAM but also cooperates tightly with the involved Siemens OEM/Regional sales organization. The TAM main focus on the DF FA automation equipment but provides expertise also on the portfolio of DF MC, DF PL, PD, PA, PD SC in order to provide holistic concepts.
• Specific technical tasks are: The creation of customer specific technical concepts following the TIA approach incl. the integration of the relevant DF PL portfolio, the creation of customer specific roadmaps from standardization to digitalization, technical consulting in the concept creation over several "involved" parties (e.g. End users, machine manufacturers, SI, interface definition, ...), request and demand of service concepts of CS and the monitoring of implementation, global rollout of automation concepts with SI, OEM and end user, planning and implementation of technical presentations, trainings and workshops, prove of functional concepts to end user, support for prototyping of TIA concepts, Internal offer support to Siemens organization and partners, tech. Feedback from the project experience in new concepts, products and systems to VSS Tech Team

1. Sales/Business Development skills to directly interface with customers
2. Understands the technology in the F&B segment
3. Understands and promotes the F&B concepts
4. Product demos and presentations
5. In depth knowledge of DF FA and Motion Control products and F&B industry solutions
6. Knowledge of DF PL Portfolio and be able to integrate DF PL products into technical concepts for F&B end-customers
7. Project management skills
8. Can do intermediate complexity level configuration quotes, including all associated hardware and software part numbers
9. Very good knowledge of the English language
