Senior UNIX Systems Administrator position on the Architecture and Automation team

Responsibilities:
Consistently create and support automation using perl, python, ruby, etc
Experience with MySQL and web development using PHP and javascript, etc
Use Puppet or similar to deliver infrastructure as a service (IAAS)
Closely liaison with all teams across IT and the businesses for the UNIX infrastructure and support
As part of the architecture team, you will be influencing, designing and delivering service and reporting improvements
Provide and support server build automation
Manage & support servers from an OS perspective
Ensure servers are patched with the latest firmware and OS updates using tools provided
Identify existing and emerging needs, research and recommend innovative solutions to those needs
Own technical projects and drive them to successful completion
Join the on-call rotation providing 7x24x365 UNIX support.
Some late night and weekend work will be required

Required Education, Experience, & Skills 3+ years of strong UNIX system administrator experience
3+ years of programming work, including version control with Git
3+ years of experience with configuration management (Chef, SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet, or CFEngine)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Self-starter with the ability to analyze tasks and work independently
Must be a team player who is willing to teach, learn and sharePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred experience using Puppet to deliver infrastructure as a service (IAAS)
Experience with MySQL and web development using PHP and javascript
