This is a rare opportunity to work closely alongside our Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) and Army Hypersonic Program Office (AHPO) partners to field several future strategic systems that the nation urgently needs.
As a Senior Staff Systems Integration & Test Engineer, you will lead, plan, and execute the integration and test program for a joint Navy and Army Hypersonic program by providing key technical solutions. The Systems Test lead will lead development to plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of components, elements, subsystems, and/or systems. This role typically has 14 or more years of professional experience in integration and testing and is considered an expert authority in this discipline.
You will lead a team in developing test plans, test documentation, executing flight tests, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. The execution of this program will require this individual to lead/support various Flight Test and Ground Test events as the Certified Test Conductor (CTC) where some travel will be required. As a CTC you will lead test efforts to ensure mission success.
Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will lead the development of test plans, Test Readiness Reviews, test procedures, and test products in support of the development of all hypersonic testing to include flight test programs
• You will lead test as a Certified Test Conductor to perform development and qualification testing on Flight Hardware and GSE
• You will provide Test Engineering solutions to support the development of various pieces of support Equipment (SE) and Flight hardware to include DFx (Design For X) items
• You will coordinate support to the program through operation of test facilities
• You will develop and maintain Certified Test Conductor processes for all test engineers on the team

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Computer Engineering, or similar related degree preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education
• System level test experience, minimum of 10 years
• Demonstrated experience communicating/briefing managers, employees, and customers to maintain a sustainable working relationship
• Ability to obtain and maintain secret security clearance – Current or previous clearance that can be reinstituted is preferred
Desired Skills:
• Flight Test Experience with military missile systems, and/or commercial space launch vehicles, such as FBM, THAAD, Targets, ARRW, HCSW, Atlas, Delta, Falcon 9, Space Launch System, New Glenn, etc., minimum of 5 years desired
• Extensive recent Test Conductor experience. Lockheed Martin Space Certified Test Conductor qualification, or aerospace industry equivalent experience and/or certification
• Master’s degree from an accredited college (Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Computer Engineering, or similar related degree) is a big plus
• Skilled user of Automation Framework, or similar programs such as Solumina
• Working knowledge of instrumentation, LabVIEW, data acquisition, RF systems, and test software
• Working knowledge of telemetry data post-processing analysis tools such as TAVS, WinPlot, National Instruments, and MATLAB
• Demonstrated Engineering knowledge and related processes in the areas of test discipline with a focus on error prevention and safety, controls logic, and data acquisition &instrumentation
• Experience with COTS equipment and system integration, mechanical/electronic troubleshooting and use of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Test & Integration
• Ability to author and interpret test requirements, implement requirement-based test methodologies, and utilize statistical data analysis
• Experienced in developing and/or supporting test equipment hardware and/or software.
• Experienced in translating verbal and/or written engineering instruction and requirements into published work products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Proposal experience (including proposal generation, BOE justification, and fact-finding experience)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
