Working under the direction of the Application Engineer - Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for driving technical sales activities for MathWorks’ technical computing and model-based design products related to Signal Processing Systems (SPS) including Radar and Sensor Systems in new and existing markets; designing and developing sophisticated engineering product models and simulation to demonstrate the applications of MathWorks’ technical computing and model-based design products to customers in the signal processing domain; leveraging engineering background to understand and effectively communicate the benefits of MathWorks’ tools for SPS engineering; working with SPS engineers to understand their technical and business challenges and proposing solutions for developing their systems; engaging with prospective customers to understand their workflow and recommend effective solutions; advocating for the future direction of MathWorks’ products based on customer interactions; and contributing to continual improvement of customers’ methodologies, best practices, tools and techniques for more effective product usage. Requires frequent travel and on short notice.

Responsibilities Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience in design, development, or technical support of signal processing systems.

Special Requirements :

• Demonstrated expertise in design, development, or technical support of MATLAB toolboxes in the signal processing and communication domains.
• Demonstrated expertise developing and delivering technical demonstrations on the use of MATLAB and Simulink for imaging radars, clutter suppression, sensor fusion and tracking algorithms.
• Demonstrated expertise writing radar signal processing algorithms (adaptive beamformers, SAR processing, CFAR, MIMO, and subspace methods) in CUDA, C/C++ and MATLAB.
