Finance Systems Manager (Adaptive Insights)

Job Description

You: are a high energy individual with the ability to manage large workloads, prioritize effectively, communicate clearly and deliver results. You are a self-starter who can work well with all levels of the cross-functional teams and handle large amounts data to create insightful reporting. You have experience in fast paced environment, ideally working in Finance or Accounting or providing financial/analytical support to business groups.

Us : We are a growing Financial team. The goals of the team include leading the annual budgeting process, maintaining an accurate financial forecast, and providing reporting and ad-hoc analytics for our business partners and the Apptio executive team. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in the finance team of a high-growth technology company. We are looking for an experienced, curious and innovative problem solver to work across our financial planning applications and support the Finance and Accounting teams to plan for and track to expense forecasts.

What we want you to do:

• Partner with broader FP&A teams to proactively identify new projects and enhancements to existing model in Adaptive Insights to increase forecasting efficiency including both forecast and process automation.
• Partner with cross functions groups like finance, accounting, IT, and HR to understand needs and suggest ways to utilize technology to increase process efficiency across all groups.
• Gain a deep understanding of business needs to contribute to prioritization of new projects/enhancements to meet existing and long-term goals of multiple business partners.
• Implement and project manage multiple cross-functional projects with competing and shifting priorities.
• Work with large sets of data to build data pipelines and analytics for executive and company wide reporting.
• Present projects plans and various training to all levels.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years experience in model building with any industry leading Cloud based SaaS EPM applications like Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, etc.
• Knowledge or experience of financial processes, especially Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Workforce Planning, and Analytics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, CIS or equivalent work experience
• Experience with Tableau

Desired Qualifications:

• Expert skills of Excel modeling, formulas, charts, etc.
• Experience working with large sets of finance and/or HR data and familiarity with best practices for data cleanliness/integrity.
• Specific experience with Adaptive Insights.
• Experience with Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, NetSuite or similar finance applications preferred
• Experience in SaaS industry is preferred
