About the Role: Reporting to the Sr. Manager of ESA Integrations, the Senior Integration Specialist will play a key role in designing and developing high quality solutions to address our business integrations needs. The Senior Integration Specialist will work closely with application analysts, solution managers, process managers and business stakeholders to support business objectives. The role is also responsible for ensuring our existing integrations are maintained, optimized and secured based on industry standards. Applicants who are customer-focused, collaborative and self-motivated are most successful in this role. This position is located in our Mississauga, ON head office or remotely in Canada/US. Key Responsibilities: · Translate business requirements and user stories into technical requirements; lead technical design of the solution and participate in test planning. · Development, deployment and maintenance of integration processes between cloud and/or on-premise applications using Dell Boomi platform; ensuring 'best in class' integration processes are implemented. · Design and develop APIs to enable real time integrations. · Design and develop Boomi HUB data models. · Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve problems with existing integration processes, MDM and environments. Identify error patterns and recommend training or revised workflows. · Monitor, analyze and recommend solutions to performance problems in high-traffic, large-scale distributed systems and integration architectures. · Create and maintain detailed documentation of integration processes including uses cases, field mapping, transformation logics, architecture diagrams etc. · Collaborate with cross functional leaders, teams, and SMEs to deliver innovative solutions to complex business needs. · Define standards and practices to govern integration processes. Also, to ensure integration architecture and processes comply with industry/ technical and regulatory standards. · Envision, design, build and support Enterprise Applications integration architecture. · Research emerging industry trends and technologies; evaluate and build business cases for implementing new tools and services
Required Experience: . Demonstrated career progression as a developer, integration specialist, or in fields related to enterprise integration. · University degree or College diploma in Computers, Engineering or Information technology · Strong knowledge of integrations design patterns, web services, API concepts and security protocols. · Hands on experience with technologies and languages such as Java, Javascript, XML, JSON, REST, WSDL, SOAP, FTP etc. · Experience developing integrations using Dell Boomi; batch processes as well as real time integrations. · Hand on experience developing integration with Salesforce platform. · Experience in authoring practices, business process, requirements or technical documentation. · Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the proven ability to work effectively with multiple internal teams. · Demonstrating organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills. · Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills · Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing requirements, deadlines, priorities, and technologies. · Demonstrating strong written and verbal communication across both technical and non-technical audience.
