Job Description

What you’ll be doing...

You are responsible for assisting the project management team to complete projects to grow and improve the Verizon Wireless network. You will interact with multiple teams to move projects along from inception to completion in a timely manner. Provide monthly/weekly reporting on project status and completions.Work within the Implementation Small Cells and In-Building Team in the Great Plains. Assisting with leasing, finance, & other administrative functions.

  • Completing tasks and working with team to have their tasks completed in workflow tool.
  • Reviewing list of projects and submitting monthly activation forecasts.
  • Analyzing existing projects and identify bottle necks and delays.
  • Upgrading cell site infrastructure of existing or newly leased sites to meet documented network standard requirements.
  • Identifying key milestones, key milestone durations, and key milestone owners and be able to report how owners are performing against agreed upon durations for all programs being managed.
  • Interfacing with most disciplines within Engineering and their vendors as well as Network Assurance and their vendors.
  • Managing leasing activities (create and track labels, weekly reporting, rent commencement, utility billing, and managing landlord issues).
  • On-boarding new hires (ordering badges, CARMs requests, equipment requests, cubicle setup, and welcome materials).
  • Budgeting responsibilities (managing teams, processing due date changes/cancels/etc., sending RNPs to vendors monthly, verifying correct project numbers and funding buckets, managing SOW for contractor POs, etc.).

What we’re looking for...

You have excellent organizational, project management, and communications skills.You areself-motivated, show initiative, and are able to work independently. You are highly productive and able to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously.

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Experience with Right of Way, Ordinances, and SLAs.
  • Experience with small cells and in-building solutions.
  • Experience with leasing and permitting.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Arts or a technical discipline.
  • Experience with real estate milestones and processes.
  • Wireless network project management experience.
  • Analytic, technical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including: Google and Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • High degree of self-directed initiative and individual judgement.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Ability to work under extremely tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
